Aspen View Public Schools, with a division office located in the town of Athabasca, is a rural school division providing diverse and innovative programming to students in a number of communities. The division is unique in that it is surrounded by a multitude of lakes, golf courses and trails that appeal to an active, outdoor lifestyle while still being in close proximity to larger urban centers.

Many schools within Aspen View are geographically located to allow beginning teachers to meet the requirements of the Northern Student Teacher Bursary and/or Northern Alberta Development Council bursaries

Landing Trail Intermediate School (LTIS) is a Grade 4-6 dual track school (English program and French Immersion program) located in Athabasca, Alberta which is 1.5 hours North of Edmonton. LTIS is uniquely nestled beside the Muskeg Creek Trails, well known for hiking, running, cross-country skiing and nature exploration. Presently, approximately 280 students attend LTIS. Our school priorities focus on academic and social success. Our inclusive environment provides opportunities for students to grow academically, socially and emotionally.

We are advertising a 1.0 FTE teaching position. The teaching assignment will be determined based on individual strengths and experiences of the successful candidate.

This position will commence with the start of the 2024-2025 school year on August 26, 2024.
