**Job opportunity**:Assistant Principal - Whispering Hills Primary School**:
Aspen View Public Schools, with a division office located in the town of Athabasca, is a rural school division providing diverse and innovative programming to students in a number of communities. The division is unique in that it is surrounded by a multitude of lakes, golf courses and trails that appeal to an active, outdoor lifestyle while still being in close proximity to larger urban centers.

We are currently seeking an assistant principal for Whispering Hills Primary School. As an instructional leader in our Division, you will be part of our Administrative Association, contributing to the success of the school and of the Division. This position reports directly to the Superintendent of Schools.

Whispering Hills Primary School is located in the Town of Athabasca and serve approximately 320 students from Kindergarten to Grade 3. We enjoy the benefits of being an APPLE School as we partner with many organizations to promote active living and healthy eating while focusing on developing strong literacy and numeracy skills in a safe, caring, welcoming and respectful environment.

- Foundational knowledge and skills to support First Nations, Métis and Inuit students and families.
- Committed to assessment for learning and outcome based reporting practices

This position will commence with the 2023-2024 school year.
