Support infection prevention at Whyte Avenue Dental Choice as a Sterilization Assistant focused on instrument reprocessing and clinical organization.
This Sterilization Assistant supports Dental Choice’s clinical team and patient care standards. You will clean, disinfect, sterilize, and reprocess dental instruments and equipment. The work includes documentation, tray preparation, treatment room turnover, supply management, and established infection prevention procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reprocess dental instruments under Infection Prevention and Control protocols
- Sterilize handpieces and equipment following manufacturer instructions
- Maintain accurate sterilization logs and instrument load records
- Prepare trays and assist with treatment room changeovers
- Replenish supplies and complete assigned daily duties
Requirements:
- Dependable, detail-oriented approach to assigned work
- Understanding of cleanliness, organization, and patient safety
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain documentation
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous dental or sterilization experience is an asset
