We are currently hiring a Senior Payroll Administrator to be based at our office in Cold Lake, Alberta. The Senior Payroll Administrator is responsible for multiple payroll-related functions ensuring accurate and timely processing and will have the opportunity for continuous growth and development to support the Payroll Manager. Key Highlights Lifestyle Spending Account Matching RRSP Contributions Professional Membership Payment Educational Assistance Program Exciting Employee Perks including discount on gym membership and home/vehicle insurance Sponsored company events (i.e. Golf Tournament, Hockey tickets) Responsibilities Process weekly and bi-weekly multi-provincial payroll for employees accurately and timely Manage employee records, resolve inquiries, and process terminations Prepare ROE’s and issue T2200s Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters Prepare and submit payroll reports to management as required Ensure compliance with all employment legislation and regulatory guidelines Support the Payroll Manager for full cycle payroll responsibilities in preparation, submission, verification and posting of payrolls Complete calendar end activities, including weekly payroll cash flow projections, month-end general ledger account reconciliations and bank reconciliations, and year-end processes, updating taxable benefits, producing T4 slips and T4 Summaries, reviewing and responding to PIER reports Administer filings and payments to external stakeholders including source remittances, benefits, WCB, RRSP, tax levies, garnishments Requirements National Payroll Institute PCP (Payroll Compliance Professional) designation preferred with a goal to attain the National Payroll Institute PLP (Payroll Leadership Professional) designation Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration Familiar with federal and provincial employment laws and payroll regulations Accounting experience with knowledge of accounting principles and practices In-depth knowledge and experience in processing full cycle payroll Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Excellent communications skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments Capable of handling confidential, sensitive and personal information High level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience with Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate is considered an asset Company Overview SITE Resource Group Limited Partnership (“SRG ”) excels in providing comprehensive solutions from initial conception to project completion, adeptly handling the construction, maintenance, and reclamation of assets across a broad spectrum of industries.
