We are seeking a skilled Fullstack Python Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end applications, leveraging Python for backend development and modern front-end technologies for a seamless user experience. The candidate should have a strong foundation in both frontend and backend development, with a passion for building scalable and efficient software solutions. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $110k – CAD $125k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask). Design and implement user interfaces with modern frontend technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js, or equivalent). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA to deliver features aligned with company goals. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. Manage database design and ORM tools (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Django ORM) for data modeling and retrieval. Participate in code reviews, guide junior developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards. Optimize application performance, scalability, and security. Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate improvements into existing applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported in production environments. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Proven experience (7+ years) developing full-stack web applications with Python. Strong knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django and Flask. Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration. Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and ORM tools. Familiarity with version control systems (Git). Understanding of web security principles. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred, but not required: Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Experience with testing frameworks (PyTest, Selenium). Understanding of DevOps practices.
