OVERVIEW: Claims Audit and Investigation Services conducts audits of health care providers and plan members to assure compliance with agreements, group contracts, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reporting, Recovery, and Investigation Officer to join our team. WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Reporting, Recovery, and Investigation Officer will play a crucial role in our division. This position requires an individual who can manage multiple requests, including fraud tips and provider verifications, coordinate collection activities, compile and monitor recovery amounts, follow up on outstanding amounts owed, and produce divisional reports to internal and external stakeholders. WHAT YOU WILL HAVE: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, Finance, Business, or Science is preferred. Experience with reporting and working with data. Experience in collections, investigations, accounting, or auditing is an asset. Familiarity with SQL languages is an asset; familiarity with R/Python is an asset; familiarity with BI tools such as MicroStrategy or Power BI. Certifications/designations in information management, data management, data analysis, knowledge management, fraud examination, accounting, and auditing are beneficial but not required. Strong proficiency in reporting. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Collaborate with the team and work both independently and within a team environment. Prioritize tasks effectively and execute a high level of individual decision‐making. This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is selected.
