Join us in shaping not just buildings, but legacies. The Opportunity We’re looking for a Construction Estimator to join our growing in-house renovation, multi-unit, new homes and commercial team. You’ll work side-by-side with the Monarchy Build family, other project managers, designers, estimators, and project consultants in an environment that fosters collaboration and creativity. We’re all problem solvers helping our clients transform their homes into functional yet beautiful living spaces. You will have the ability to steer your career with unlimited, performance-based growth. 40-44 hours a week dependent on milestones. What You39;ll Be Doing Review construction plans for best build practices to minimize building cost and time. Review contracts and change orders to ensure that they are accurate and provide enough description. Complete accurate take offs for commercial builds and fitups, new homes, multi-units, renovations and additions. Build new, and manage existing Trade Partner & Supplier relationships, ensuring contracts are negotiated and updated as required. Provide up to date costing, both incoming and replacement for preparation of price lists, quotations, and contracts. What We39;re Looking For Excellent communication skills and an ability to get your great ideas across quickly and clearly. Can read and interpret construction drawings. Proficient in Excel, Word & Outlook. Proficient in Planswift, (or equivalent) You have a minimum of 5 years of estimating experience within the commercial and residential construction industry. You have experience in commercial and residential Interiors and Exteriors in renovations, multi-units and new home construction. You have experience in understanding scopes of work and negotiating pricing based on knowledge. Someone who revels in a fast paced, dynamic environment and has a thirst to always be learning. A team player who\'s always asking, "what can I do to help?".
