We’re Hiring: Construction Estimator (Public Tenders & RFQs)

Axicon Group Inc. is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Construction Estimator with a strong background in public-sector tenders and RFQ submissions to join our team.

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in pricing public and private projects, managing RFQs to trades and suppliers, and supporting compliant, competitive tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications

• Prepare quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates

• Issue RFQs to subcontractors and suppliers

• Follow up and manage trade pricing

• Analyze, level, and validate subcontractor bids

• Assist with tender pricing summaries and submissions

• Identify risks, exclusions, and value opportunities

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years estimating experience (public tender experience required)

• Strong understanding of RFQ and procurement processes

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline driven
