Extended Seasonal Contract (Start Jan 2026 to September 2026) Possibly Opportunity to extend to a Permanent Year Round position The Reservations team are responsible for providing information about the Resort, using a variety of media to contact potential guests and for making hotel and activity reservations for guests planning their vacations. Our Sales Lead reports directly to the Call Centre Supervisor and include daily supervision of Sales Agents includes training, motivation, evaluations and discipline. The position of the Reservations Sales Lead requires a detailed oriented person who is a team player. The ability to stay on top of a multitude of details while at the same time motivating and inspiring others will be critical to the success of this position. Organization, time management skills, customer service skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are skills that will benefit. Responsibilities All correspondence, activity reservations and general clerical duties fall under the responsibility of the reservation sales agent Use selling techniques to promote Ski Resort activities and events. Counsel clients on terms and conditions of travel, e.g., cancellation policies Book reservations and send out confirmation notices Process payments and refunds Handle customer complaints or concerns Incoming customer inquiries via phone, fax and email, providing general information about aspects of the Resort to potential customers Making accurate hotel, activity bookings for people wanting to stay on mountain by asking questions and matching guest needs & expectations to the appropriate accommodation Provide travel information, itineraries and prices Assist with Wholesale reservations Assist with daily reporting Assist with workload distribution for FIT Agent Assist with seasonal training Address any special projects as outlined by the Call Centre Manager Communicate and correspond with supervisors, hotels and related departments by providing clear and concise emails or reports. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities A secondary school diploma is preferred Previous travel agent experience is preferred Excellent telephone manner and etiquette are required Excellent customer service skills Excellent written communication skills Detail-oriented Previous experience in marketing and sales an asset Ability to do thorough research Organizational skills Time management skills are an asset Knowledge of a second language is an asset Benefits Free Season Pass Reciprocal Passes at other Local and International Resorts Free Staff Bus to and from Vernon Free Ski/Snowboard Group Lessons (Winter) Discounts on Food & Beverage, Rentals, Retail and Repairs Family and Friends benefits on Lift Tickets and Accommodation Hours Per week range between 25-40 F/T Operation hours can range from 8am till 4:30pm Winter and Summer Seasonal Role $18.50 per hour – lots of staff incentives At SilverStar, we intend to Play Forever.
