YOUR IMPACT As a Principal Data Architect, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of OpenText’s data ecosystem at an enterprise scale. In this highly visible role, you’ll influence how data is designed, governed, and leveraged across the organization—powering advanced analytics, AI‑driven innovation, and smarter business decisions. What You’ll Bring To Be Successful A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). An MBA or advanced degree is an asset. 15+ years of experience across IT and business environments, with deep expertise in enterprise data architecture and systems lifecycle management. Proof of designing and executing enterprise data strategies in complex, multi‑technology environments. Strong expertise in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing. A strategic mindset with excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, focused on performance, scalability, and resilience. The ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels. A passion for continuous learning, with curiosity around emerging trends in data architecture, AI, and digital transformation.
