Job Title: Lead Cloud Enterprise Architect

Work Location:- Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Job Description:-

  • The Enterprise Architect will work with Business and Delivery owners, Solution Architects and Infrastructure Architects to
  • Drive solution design for business requirements
  • Guide containerization and cloud adoption
  • Integrate FSTI Microservices/APIs for FSTI Web products
  • Conduct Architecture Gating review and approval for technical solutions on projects.
  • The Enterprise Architect provides technical leadership and mentorship to delivery teams while ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance.
  • The Enterprise Architect will develop modernization strategies including migration approaches, phases implementation and risk mitigation.
  • Exposure to Agile Methodology including Scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe) is desired.
  • Must have leadership experience in handling external customer and projects independently.

Good communication skills, organization, multi-tasking, and assertiveness will help succeed in this role.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Define and document the current and future state architecture leveraging Cloud technologies.
  • Identifying and communicating technical implementation requirements and work with product SMEs and Domain SMEs to develop technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with customer enterprise architecture, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance and alignment.
  • Mentor solution architects and engineering team on best practices and modernization techniques.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and resilient application platforms using hybrid cloud patterns.
  • Provide architectural governance across solution design, development, testing and deployment phases.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.

  • Job Experiences
  • Solid experience with Java/J2ee, Spring Boot Framework & Hibernate and design techniques in a large environment(s) with understanding of distributed concepts, patterns, and multi-threading.
  • Must have strong working experience in Java, J2EE and spring frameworks.

  • Proven experience in designing and implementation large scale data platforms and modernization programs.
  • Understands database concepts – proficient in writing SQL queries (DB2/iSeries, MS SQL, MySQL)
  • Knowledge of OpenAPI 3.0 Specifications, YAML and Swagger platform.
  • Strong Knowledge of Web security standards such as SAML 2.0 and OAuth 2.0 and Microsoft Entra ID platform.

Knowledge of DevOps and working experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) is preferable

  • At least 15 years of Information Technology experience with at least 10 years of strong architecture experience in a Software As A Service platform.
