Contract Start Date: 05/01/2026 End Date: 16/12/2026 Business Days: 241 Hours per Day: 7.25 Maximum Extension: 24 months Project Name Alberta Courts Technology Ecosystem Scope Court Technology Services seeks a senior enterprise architect to support and oversee the technology ecosystem of the Alberta Courts. Duties This role is responsible for understanding and describing Alberta Courts and translating it into an overall technical architecture vision, strategy and ensuring architecture standards and principles. This includes the active communication and promotion of the vision, strategy and principles. Define the enterprise architecture framework to avoid redundancy, have integrated, cost-effective solutions and provide a common foundation for all system, service and infrastructure developments. Develop and Maintain Enterprise Architecture (EA) Frameworks. Align Technology with Business Strategy. Assess Current State Architecture and Create Target State Architectures. Guide Large-Scale Transformation Projects. Evaluate and Recommend Technologies. Collaborate with Stakeholders. Model Business Processes and Capabilities. Risk and Security Management. Support Solution Architects and Engineering Teams. Cost Optimization and Technical Debt Management. Working Hours Standard Hours of work are 08:15 – 16:30 Alberta time, Monday through Friday excluding holidays observed by the Province. Work must be done from within Alberta, due to network and data security issues. The role will be hybrid; the GoA does not pay for travel to attend on-site meetings, nor any expenses related to relocation, commuting, housing/accommodation, food/drink.
