Senior Enterprise Architect – Alberta Courts Location Hybrid – minimum of three days in the office (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and one other day). Office location: 10365 97 St NW, Edmonton, Alberta T5J 3W7. Scope Court Technology Services seeks a senior enterprise architect to support and oversee the technology ecosystem of the Alberta Courts. Duties Develop and maintain enterprise architecture/frameworks. Align technology with business strategy. Assess current state architecture and create target state architectures. Guide large‑scale transformation projects. Set standards, principles, and governance. Evaluate and recommend technologies. Collaborate with stakeholders. Model business processes and capabilities. Risk and security management. Support solution architects and engineering teams. Cost optimization and technical debt management. Must Have Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 8+ years leading cross‑functional agile product teams, providing architectural direction, and mentoring developers. 5+ years architecting, managing, and maintaining Azure Red Hat OpenShift clusters. 8+ years identifying and assessing requirements across multiple architecture domains. 7+ years documenting and designing application architectures in an enterprise IT environment equivalent to the Government of Alberta. 7+ years planning, designing, implementing, and supporting platform solutions in a comparable environment. 8+ years providing leadership, planning, estimating, and presentations of ideas and solutions. Criminal Records Check and Enhanced Security Clearance, including a credit check, prior to commencement. Have lived in Canada for at least five years. Nice to Have 5+ years collaborating with data architects, engineers, and analysts to design and optimize cloud architecture and services. 5+ years contributing to application architecture standards and guidelines. 5+ years designing or maintaining solutions that use enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) hub architecture registries. 5+ years developing solutions using amCharts charting framework in an enterprise IT environment. 5+ years developing mobile solutions in a comparable environment. 5+ years working with the OWASP Top Ten web application security flaws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
