We are looking for a motivated and innovative Manager to lead the service of the Lethbridge Youth Treatment Centre and the Lethbridge Overdose Prevention Site. These dynamic programs exist within a recovery‑oriented system of care. The Manager is accountable for the overall operational leadership at these two distinct physical sites and reports to the Director of Facility‑Based Services. The Manager is responsible for delivering high‑quality, accessible, sustainable, client and family‑centred, trauma‑informed care that incorporates cultural sensitivity. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Responsibilities Act as a leader, mentor and consultant to program staff and promote clinical development and education within the program settings. Foster a culture of high quality, collaborative care and continuous improvement. Ensure effective deployment of resources, including human resources, and contribute to the development and implementation of operational plans. Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to plan and operationalize services that are client and family‑centred. Manage complex situations with multiple demands and align with organizational goals of improved access to effective quality care. Develop new services, program planning, fiscal management, and implement and maintain standards of professional practice. Hire, supervise and evaluate professional and support staff. Implement changes related to processes and structures to achieve improved access, quality of care and resource allocation. Serve as key liaison for contracted service providers and maintain "good neighbor" relationships with businesses and organizations around the sites. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a health profession with current registration in an applicable regulatory body. A clear pattern of professional and personal development. Minimum of five years of work experience delivering addiction and mental health services, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity with progressive leadership roles in a healthcare environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Additional Required Qualifications Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Ability to manage diverse human, financial and physical resources within a complex unionized environment. Strong organizational skills, client‑focused orientation and commitment to providing long‑term quality services. Ability and comfort with decision‑making responsibilities, coaching, teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Experience in collaborating with other healthcare professionals and contracted providers. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications A master’s level degree or higher. Formal training in health administration or leadership. Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention Training. Incident Command System training/experience.
