Job Summary As a Principal Information Security Engineer, you will lead the planning, design, and implementation of security architectures. You’ll partner with cross‑functional teams to enforce corporate cybersecurity policies, ensuring the organization’s technology infrastructure and data assets remain secure, compliant, and resilient. Job Duties Lead development and implementation of security architectures across network and computer systems. Own the installation and configuration of network hardware and software. Oversee network monitoring, continuously identifying and addressing potential security threats across LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related devices. Lead vulnerability assessments across systems and applications. Direct incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, mitigation, and post‑incident analysis. Coach and mentor junior network engineers. Influence multiple areas within the domain, potentially impacting the broader department’s strategic direction. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Deep professional expertise in information security architecture and cybersecurity procedures. Ability to lead and implement solutions to complex, unscoped problems. Strong relationship‑building and collaboration skills with key contacts outside the immediate area of expertise. Experience coaching and developing junior peers. Proven ability to set technical direction for teams. Comfortable operating with a high level of independence. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 8–10 years of experience in information security engineering.
