Essential Functions/ Responsibilities

  • This role requires strong background in DevOps Tools and Practices: Proficiency in CI/CD processes and tools, particularly ArgoCB for GitOps workflows.
  • Infrastructure as code (IaC): Expertise in Terraform for managing infrastructure, ensuring we're applying the best practices in IaC.
  • In depth understanding of Kubernetes, including deploying, managing and troubleshooting clusters in production environments.
  • Cloud platform experience: Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP or Azure) and integrating cloud services into DevOps pipelines.
  • Scripting and automation: Ability to script and automate workflows using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Metrics and Monitoring: Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana or DataDog) to track performance metrics across applications and infrastructure.
  • KPI Development and Tracking: Proficiency in developing and tracking KPIs, with a focus on reliability, deployment frequency, failure recovery time and system uptime.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive for performance optimization based on KPI's, supporting faster deployments and higher availability.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of personal management experience.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and ability to identify new processes and provide mentorship to DevOps Engineers.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical operations, cloud infrastructure or DevOps.
  • Proven track record in managing large scale projects.
