Irving group of companies Relocation costs (if applicable) Responsibilities As a key member of the Executive Management Team, the Vice President, Finance will report to the General Manager and will assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The VP, Finance will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility of accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic financial planning, manufacturing costing, pricing & deal analysis and oversee the information system management. This position will be based out of Moncton, New Brunswick (220 Harrisville Boulevard, E1H 3N5). This is a permanent, full-time position. Drive employee experience and engagement initiatives that foster a culture of inclusion and belonging Lead finance team members and engage with corporate finance teams to meet all requirements of reporting, forecasting, costing and customer pricing & profitability Provide guidance in establishing pricing strategy and enhance pricing control & reporting Ensure effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax & law regulations Work effectively with senior management team to develop and execute strategic business plans, including analysis and identification of opportunities and performance improvement Qualifications Bachelor's degree in relevant field Professional accounting designation (CPA) 10-15 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing and/or consumer goods company About Us Founded in 1882, J.D.
