Position Summary / Descriptions/Responsabilités Come join a dynamic group of physicians in the rural community of Ste. Anne, located just 30 kilometers (a 20‑minute drive) from the East perimeter. Our clinic and hospital are located side by side in the heart of Ste. Anne, along the Seine River. We are looking for multiple providers to join our site. Ste. Anne is a francophone community that is fast growing and attracting families of all ages and backgrounds. As such, we are looking to expand our team of family physicians. Remuneration is on a fee‑for‑service basis and includes an extra 5% for rural coverage. A wide variety of practice opportunities is available at our site including part‑time and full‑time work: family practice, emergency room coverage, hospitalist, obstetrics, long‑term care and surgical assistance are available to suit different tastes. We are also part of the U of M bilingual family medicine residency program and host medical students and residents in the clinic and the hospital. Proficiency in French is required as the hospital and practice serve a francophone community. Qualifications / Qualités Requises Proficiency of both official languages is essential (English/French) Must be eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba To provide emergency coverage at any acute care centre that provides obstetrical services in the region you must have current ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification Given the cultural diversity of our region, the ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population is required Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality including paper, electronic formats and other mediums Good work and attendance record La compétence dans les deux langues officielles (français et anglais) est essentielle Admissible à l’inscription et au permis d’exercice du Collège des médecins et chirurgiens du Manitoba Certificats en règle suivants : cours avancé en réanimation cardiorespiratoire (ACLS); soins avancés en réanimation pédiatrique (PALS) et programme de réanimation néonatale (PRN) afin de pouvoir offrir des soins d’urgence dans n’importe quel centre de soins actifs de la région Compte tenu de la diversité culturelle de notre région, la capacité de respecter et de promouvoir une population culturelle diversifiée est nécessaire Capacité manifeste de respecter la confidentialité, quel que soit le type de support utilisé (papier, électronique, etc.) Capacité manifeste de satisfaire aux exigences physiques et mentales du poste Bon dossier de travail et d’assiduité Seniority level Entry level Employment type Part‑time Job function Health Care Provider Industries Hospitals and Health Care Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Shared Health-Soins Communs by 2x.
