Job Description Senior Treasury Manager – Enterprise Capital Management. Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Pay Details: $108,800 - $163,200 CAD Work Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hours: 37.5 per week Line Of Business: Analytics, Insights, & Artificial Intelligence Department Overview Our team is part of the TBSM data management group. Our vision is to make treasury a data‑centric organization and our mission is to ensure that data used and owned by Treasury is fully understood, accessible, controlled and fit for purpose. The team acts as the business owner of the new centralization data consumption solution, enabling seamless integration into TBSM applications and business users, and developing self‑serve user capabilities. Responsibilities Set appropriate context for the business unit/function to enable optimal performance and alignment to data strategy. Support the creation and communication of goals and objectives for the business unit/function. Build capability – support/execut plans to acquire, develop and retain diverse teams with the necessary skills. Model behaviors consistent with TD's leadership profile, customer and employee experience agendas and risk culture. Create an extraordinary workplace culture reflecting TD’s diversity agenda. Lead, coach and develop a highly effective team by ensuring ongoing training and performance management. Proactively identify issues, trends and opportunities, and recommend actions based on judgment and facts. Lead the team to prepare frameworks to translate complex data into clear recommendations. Ensure deep understanding and contribute to achieving the business strategy, goals, and objectives. Protect the organization’s interests – identify and manage risks, and elevate non‑standard, high‑risk transactions when necessary. Manage oversight processes, risk‑based identification and monitoring of related risks and regulatory compliance. Champion the identification, escalation, and resolution of data issues identified as part of projects. Communicate with all data roles, business segments, and corporate functions as needed. Provide people‑management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing performance and compensation decisions, and handling disciplinary actions as required. Proactively manage risk and compliance with regulatory standards within the TBSM target operating model. Build a strong team with positive dynamics and a productive, innovative environment. Lead the delivery of required data for TBSM users. Partner with Technology and TBSM Business to create, implement and maintain a standardized consumption point, pattern and a physical articulation of curated and ready‑to‑consume treasury data. Ensure business information is available to users to build, develop, design, and implement capabilities for delivery of curated data. Create and maintain the data model to structure business data for consumption. Validate the implemented data solution and automate the UAT processes to optimize. Qualifications Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred; graduate’s degree preferred with progressive project work experience or 7+ years of relevant experience. Deep data knowledge for financial instruments/products. Treasury business domain knowledge, such as liquidity, capital, interest rate risk or fund transfer pricing. Technical data analytics skills (SQL/Python/VBA…) and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, SAS…) and people‑management skills. Large‑scale project experience. Subject matter expertise with financial instrument products and data modeling. Strategic partner to leadership on portfolio and financial management, with deep industry and enterprise knowledge. Facilitate key strategic discussions and provide thought leadership to executive audiences. Set operational team direction and collaborate with others to execute common goals. Focus on longer‑range planning for functional area. Reports to executive management.
