We are seeking an experienced Director of Flight Operations/Captain to join our three-pilot team in a unique dual role that combines flight operations management with active line flying. Flight Experience: Minimum 5,000 hours total flight time Significant Corporate Jet experience Minimum 3,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Challenger Series or super-midsize jet experience Extensive North and Central America flying experience Current unrestricted passport for North and Central American travel Professional Experience: Previous CARS 604 corporate or self-dispatch flight department experience required Appropriate Management experience Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for flight department operations Experience with international flight operations and procedures Certifications: Valid ATPL with appropriate type ratings Current medical certificate English proficiency Level 6 Role Responsibilities. As Director of Flight Operations: Ensure compliance with CARS 604.141 and all applicable regulations Oversee and manage all areas of our flight operations Coordinate with the CP on pilot training, proficiency checks, and currency requirements Plan with our DOM on maintenance requirements and ensure aircraft airworthiness As Captain: Conduct safe flight operations throughout North and Central America No overseas flying at this time Maintain highest standards of professionalism and customer service Share equally in line flying duties with team members Mentor and support crew development Participate in continuous safety improvement initiatives The Ideal Candidate.
