DelGate Logistics is a leading Canadian 3PL company based in Vancouver, specializing in warehousing, fulfillment, last-mile delivery, and freight forwarding. We’re known for our tech-enabled operations, flexible solutions, and focus on big & bulky e-commerce logistics. As we grow, we’re looking for driven individuals to join our team and contribute to delivering high-level service to our clients. Position Overview: We’re hiring a full-time Assistant Operations Manager to support day-to-day logistics operations and help drive business growth. This role is ideal for someone with a strong logistics background who enjoys leading teams, improving systems, and building scalable workflows. You'll work closely with the operations team and leadership to ensure efficiency, consistency, and continuous improvement across our warehouse activities. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and support the daily operations team; assign and follow up on tasks Collaborate with the warehouse team for at least 1 hour/day to improve workflows and optimize use of the WMS (Warehouse Management System) Onboard new clients and ensure a smooth handover into operations Contribute to business expansion initiatives, including identifying and reaching out to potential business partners Maintain performance standards and address any operational issues quickly Monitor process efficiency and implement workflow improvements Work with leadership to align operations with company goals Assist in training staff on new procedures or system updates Support basic IT troubleshooting and system usage (IT knowledge is an asset) Qualifications: Must have logistics and warehouse operations knowledge 2+ years of experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain management Strong leadership and organizational skills Experience with warehouse or logistics software (WMS/TMS) Comfortable with technology; IT background is a plus Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Fluent in English; Mandarin is a strong asset Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment A proactive and problem-solving mindset Why Join DelGate: Competitive salary based on experience Opportunity for growth in a rapidly expanding logistics company Collaborative, fast-paced environment with a focus on innovation Work on real improvements that directly impact operational performance Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
