About the Team The Investment Operations team acts as a control point between the Front Office (Investment Management and Trading Teams) and Back-Office Counterparties (Brokers, Issuers). The work is varied, structured in short task blocks, and offers broad exposure across Operations, Investment, and Trading departments. About the Role Reporting to the Manager of Application Support, you will monitor and support all aspects of a Fund’s trade lifecycle, including order allocation, reconciliations, corporate actions, expenses, securities pricing, and audit support. You will liaise with vendors to troubleshoot issues, support internal stakeholders, and participate in new product launches and ad-hoc projects. Your Responsibilities Work shifts to cover evening ETF processing Provide daily operational support for Investment Operations applications, primarily Bloomberg AIM Contribute to system enhancements Resolve issues efficiently and promptly Provide after-hours and weekend support on a rotation basis Coordinate with vendors to resolve technical issues Update clients on request statuses and manage expectations Handle customer queries from start to finish Collaborate with teams to ensure excellent service levels Enhance user experience by understanding business processes Monitor and escalate vendor-related issues Use analytical skills to resolve problems and propose solutions Maintain and create documentation on team processes Build positive relationships through effective communication Your Qualifications Minimum 1 year of investment operations/support experience Experience with systems like Eagle, Bloomberg, CIBC Mellon Workbench, Charles River, SS&C, or similar Advanced MS Office skills; Excel formulas, macros, VBA a plus Knowledge of SQL/Oracle and relational databases Understanding of investment management business and securities Experience with various asset classes and financial instruments Strong data management skills Results-driven with attention to detail Ability to work independently under tight deadlines Technical literacy to understand complex issues Excellent relationship-building skills Teamwork and collaboration skills Proven operational efficiency improvements High ethical standards and client service orientation Negotiation and influencing skills No unsolicited agency referrals please.
