Our investment expertise spans fundamental, quantitative, and private investing, serving a broad client base including financial advisors, high-net-worth individuals, and institutional investors such as pension funds, corporate plans, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, and foundations.About the TeamThe Investment Operations team acts as a control point between the Front Office (Investment Management and Trading Teams) and Back-Office Counterparties (Brokers, Issuers). The work is varied, structured in short task blocks, and offers broad exposure across Operations, Investment, and Trading departments.About the RoleReporting to the Manager of Application Support, you will monitor and support all aspects of a Fund’s trade lifecycle, including order allocation, reconciliations, corporate actions, expenses, securities pricing, and audit support. You will liaise with vendors to troubleshoot issues, support internal stakeholders, and participate in new product launches and ad-hoc projects.Your ResponsibilitiesWork shifts to cover evening ETF processingProvide daily operational support for Investment Operations applications, primarily Bloomberg AIMContribute to system enhancementsResolve issues efficiently and promptlyProvide after-hours and weekend support on a rotation basisCoordinate with vendors to resolve technical issuesUpdate clients on request statuses and manage expectationsHandle customer queries from start to finishCollaborate with teams to ensure excellent service levelsEnhance user experience by understanding business processesMonitor and escalate vendor-related issuesUse analytical skills to resolve problems and propose solutionsMaintain and create documentation on team processesBuild positive relationships through effective communicationYour QualificationsMinimum 1 year of investment operations/support experienceExperience with systems like Eagle, Bloomberg, CIBC Mellon Workbench, Charles River, SS&C, or similarAdvanced MS Office skills; Excel formulas, macros, VBA a plusKnowledge of SQL/Oracle and relational databasesUnderstanding of investment management business and securitiesExperience with various asset classes and financial instrumentsStrong data management skillsResults-driven with attention to detailAbility to work independently under tight deadlinesTechnical literacy to understand complex issuesExcellent relationship-building skillsTeamwork and collaboration skillsProven operational efficiency improvementsHigh ethical standards and client service orientationNegotiation and influencing skillsNo unsolicited agency referrals please.AGF is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
