Epic Technical Dress Rehearsal Project Manager Job Title: Epic Technical Dress Rehearsal Project Manager Start Date: As soon as possible – two weeks from acceptance of offer Duration: 8 months with possible extension Daily Working Hours: 1.5 hours ahead of EST time zone Travel: 25-30% between now-October, ramping up to 50% travel between November-April with a slow‑down period during the holidays. East coast candidates preferred. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end execution of the Technical Design Review (TDR) in collaboration with Epic and internal IT teams. Develop, maintain, and track a detailed technical work plan aligned with the broader Epic implementation timeline. Serve as the main point of contact between the Epic technical team and the organization’s IT/infrastructure departments. Coordinate across teams. Oversee the provisioning and readiness of environments: production, training, testing, and build. Ensure backup, disaster recovery, failover, and system monitoring systems are in place. Track TDR tasks and milestones using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira). Required Qualifications Epic TDR Certification or participation in previous Epic TDR engagements. Experience with large-scale Epic implementations. 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in IT infrastructure or healthcare IT. Experience managing third-party vendors and external consultants. Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
