About Our Client Our client is sourcing a Senior Manager, Finance for a 6-month contract. About the Opportunity Lead all year-end financial close activities for both regulated and non-regulated insurance entities Manage regulatory filings (OSFI/FISRA) and ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS 17 and related disclosure requirements Support the CFO in ERM and internal audit project kick-offs Prepare and review financial statement notes, ensuring accuracy under the evolving insurance reporting landscape Collaborate with IT and operations to strengthen internal controls and reporting infrastructure Contribute to the improvement of finance systems and procedures across the business Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO, helping to reduce workload and ensure strategic priorities are delivered About You Property & Casualty insurance experience (mandatory) Senior-level experience (Director / VP / Senior Consultant) in finance or controllership within insurance Hands-on approach - able to dive into spreadsheets, GL, and financial statement notes Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (OSFI, FISRA) and IFRS 17 A practical, roll-up-your-sleeves leader with a "figure-it-out" mentality Comfortable working in a lean environment with multiple hats Able to balance technical detail and strategic oversight Exposure to group benefits or multi-line insurance is an asset Experience overseeing IT or systems integration is an asset Big 4 background is an asset CPA designation preferred How to Apply Click the "Apply Now" button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
