If so, joining the Made in Canada Gifts team may be the perfect fit for you Key Responsibilities Attend to customers with enthusiasm, maturity, and strong product knowledge Conduct sales transactions using a computerized point-of-sale system Respond to customer communications by telephone and occasionally by email Ensure accuracy in all cash transactions, inventory counts, and store procedures Maintain and enhance in-store product merchandising Maintain appearance of store, including cleaning of display shelving and floors Removal of recycling and garbage from store Potentially assist with managing social media and/or other marketing activities Always work collaboratively as a team with other employees and store management Requirements Previous experience in a professional retail environment is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge and/or strong interest in Canadian and Indigenous artisanal products Ability to serve customers in both English and French is highly desirable Availability to work a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week Physical stamina to work on your feet for long shifts, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
