We’re looking for a Business Analyst who can turn numbers into narratives and processes into progress. In this role, you’ll analyze and optimize FSC’s operational and financial processes, ensuring decisions are grounded in accuracy, transparency, and insight. You’ll take the lead on reviewing project budgets and audit statements, conducting rigorous financial analyses, and validating data to support strategic decision‑making. You will also play a central role in maintaining and improving FSC’s operational systems, including tools such as Airtable, Salesforce, Zapier, and Cognito Forms—developing and refining forms, dashboards, and automations that improve workflow efficiency and data reliability. In addition, you’ll support the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and deliver training to internal teams to ensure consistent use of systems, promote data accuracy and strengthen overall process alignment across the organization. As a trusted advisor, you’ll guide internal teams and external partners in managing project budgets and interpreting complex financial information. You will conduct data quality reviews, strengthen data integrations, and support KPI and performance reporting to ensure that FSC’s key metrics and dashboards accurately reflect program outcomes. This role also contributes to supporting data accuracy, and reinforcing connections between operational, financial, and reporting systems. Through these efforts, the Business Analyst will help build a stronger, more integrated foundation for data‑driven decision‑making across FSC. Qualifications Completion of a post‑secondary degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business Management, Engineering or a related field. A minimum of four (4) years in a similar capacity. Experience maintaining and optimizing digital systems (e.g. Airtable, Salesforce, Zapier, or equivalent workflow automation tools). Experience with business process improvement initiatives. Experience in data quality management, systems integration and KPI or performance reporting. Experience in budgeting, performing variance analysis, and reporting. Experience with fund/project accounting. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, accounting and auditing for not‑for‑profit organizations. Knowledge of various software applications to track and analyze business processes and financial e.g. Google Suite, Excel, CRM, Project Management, database management, and data infrastructure. Strong communication skills and a strong client/stakeholder‑centered approach when advising internal and external stakeholders on financial and budget matters. Strong quantitative and analytical skills to prepare year‑end working papers and analyze complex annual statements and business process information.
