Overview Join to apply for the Solution Consultant role at Applied Systems Canada . Applied Systems is a worldwide leader in insurance technology. The Solution Consultant will be responsible for conducting pre-sales, business operational reviews and product evaluations of all applicable Ivans, Cytora and Applied Systems’ solutions in North America. The role is the Sales division’s resource for consulting, solution engineering, and product demonstrations to prove business value to carrier, agency and broker prospects and clients. The department works closely with Sales and Services to recommend a solution offering and enable that offering to be effectively evaluated and delivered. The role requires current knowledge of the insurance industry and daily operations of insurance carriers, agencies, brokerages, MGAs, MGUs, and GAs. What You’ll Do Collaborate with the Sales team to discover and document strategic and functional goals and technical requirements of a prospect/client. Develop and deliver product demonstrations and proofs of concept to position the value of Ivans, Cytora and Applied Systems' solutions from both technical and business perspectives to all levels of leadership, including technical stakeholders and C-suite executives. Demonstrate alignment with Ivans, Cytora and Applied Systems’ products and document how changes will lower costs, increase profitability, and/or increase revenue. Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific prospect/client requirements, including RFP responses and prospect/client-facing documentation of discoveries and demonstrations. Coordinate product demonstrations, proofs of concepts, trial installations (if applicable) and site visits with prospects and clients. Collaborate with the Sales team on hand-offs to and engagements with resources during the sales cycle (e.g., Integration Services, Product Engineering, Infrastructure Services, Data Services, Enterprise Services, Education Services and Activation Services). Stay informed on industry news, trends and competitors. What You’ll Need To Succeed 5+ years of P&C insurance carrier and/or MGA experience or carrier SaaS sales equivalent. API fluency with REST APIs and hands-on experience with tools like Postman. Strong consultative approach and passion for driving business value. Ability to discuss insurance industry terminology and issues/needs of consumers. Ability to develop technical understanding of software architecture and capability. Working knowledge of configuring and testing AI-based products. Remote work from a North American home office; travel up to 50% and proximity to a major airport. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in the insurance industry. We know that talent comes from all backgrounds and experience levels. Factors such as depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities are considered. Depending on the role, team members may be eligible for additional compensation plans such as bonuses and commission.
