Business Development Consultant – Wine and Spirit Business France accelerates French companies’ global expansion. In Canada we partner with French wine, spirit, beer and cider producers to unlock new market opportunities. Your missions: Identify market opportunities and trends for French alcoholic beverage companies in Canada. Advise French companies on their business and marketing strategies in Canada, and coach them on North American business culture. Prospect potential Canadian partners, target prospects and organise business meetings. Participate in the organisation of trade missions of French companies in Canada during trade shows or business conventions. Develop a strong network of Canadian professionals and decision‑makers in the alcoholic beverages sector. Facilitate business and communications between two cultures and ensure both parties have a clear understanding of projects at hand. Qualifications: 2+ years of relevant experience in the agribusiness sector with a focus on alcoholic beverages. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field. Fluency in English and French; excellent communication skills. Strategic analysis and project management skills with the ability to multitask. Self‑starter, dynamic, comfortable working in a team with local, national or international partners. Proficiency with MS Office applications. Valid driving licence. Legal right to work in Canada (citizenship or permanent resident only). Travel: 20% of time required.
