What We Are Looking For The Lead Developer serves as a technical leader within the NetSuite implementation team, overseeing complex development projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions. This role combines expert-level technical knowledge with leadership capabilities, driving the success of SuiteCommerce and ERP implementations. The Lead Developer is also responsible for mentoring junior team members, recommending process improvements, and optimizing system functionality to meet and exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities Identify and propose process improvements based on in-depth technical insights and industry best practices Collaborate with clients and internal teams to streamline workflows and enhance system performance Oversee and manage SuiteCommerce implementations, ensuring e-commerce solutions are designed, customized, and executed effectively Provide strategic direction to meet client-specific requirements and optimize user experience Design and implement complex features to enhance NetSuite system functionality, using advanced coding techniques and creativity Push the boundaries of what is achievable within the NetSuite framework, leveraging knowledge of platform capabilities and limitations Maintain a comprehensive understanding of standard NetSuite ERP processes and functionalities, applying this knowledge to inform solution design Possess specialized knowledge of additional modules to address diverse client needs effectively Demonstrate a strong understanding of SuiteScript limitations, guiding teams and clients on achievable outcomes within the platform Offer innovative alternative solutions to address challenges and maximize system capabilities Conduct rigorous quality control reviews of developed features and integrations to ensure they meet functional, technical, and client requirements Uphold high standards for deliverables, ensuring reliability and performance before deployment Dispatch and oversee tasks that do not require direct involvement, ensuring all assigned work is tracked and completed efficiently Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement Any other delegated responsibilities by the Employer Qualifications And Requirements Bachelor degree in Computer Science or any other related field 4-5 years+ experience as a NetSuite Technical Consultant Solid experience with leading implementation with SuiteCommerce Bilingual in french and english as we do have clients outside of the province of Quebec Ability to travel on a modest to moderate basis, when appropriate Obtained SuiteAdmin, SuiteFoundation, Level 4 Celigo, Application Dev, Web Services Dev, Connector Certifications Why Work With Us 35-hour work week Group insurance with employer contribution Telemedicine and employee assistance program Voluntary group RRSP Unlimited sick days and personal days Flexibility to work from anywhere in the world for 90 days Annual company retreat and quarterly events Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Industries Business Consulting and Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
