Facilities Engineer – Relocate to Saudi Arabia (Permanent Expat Relocation Package) Aramco is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join the Upstream Digital & Computing Strategy Department (UD&CSD). Job Overview Join UD&CSD to accelerate the upstream digital transformation by leading long‑term facilities planning, capital funding, and execution of large‑scale, high‑density HPC environments. The primary focus is on Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) and advanced thermal systems. Key Responsibilities Serve as subject‑matter expert in Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) systems for HPC. Design and review high‑density cooling architectures, including liquid distribution units, heat exchangers, and facility integration. Drive energy efficiency, sustainability, and reliability improvements. Partner with operations teams to ensure long‑term reliability, maintainability, and uptime. Define standards, procedures, and best practices for HPC facility infrastructure. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including IT/HPC teams, finance, procurement, and leadership. Manage external vendors, consultants, designers, and contractors. Review and negotiate technical scopes of work and service agreements. Lead end‑to‑end planning and design of future UDC data center facility projects. Oversee design reviews, construction activities, commissioning, and handover. Manage funding approval processes, cost estimates, and financial justifications. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required performance standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or related discipline. 5+ years of data center facilities engineering experience supporting HPC environments. Hands‑on experience with high‑density cooling solutions, preferably Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC). Proven experience in long‑term facilities planning, capital funding, and execution. Solid understanding of data center power, cooling, and mechanical systems. Experience managing large capital projects from concept through commissioning. Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
