Location and Work Hours Location Address: Hybrid - 44 King Street W 12th Floor – 3 days/week (Tuesday to Thursday) Subject to change: 3–4 days onsite may be required based on business needs Contract Duration: 12 months Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week Job Title: Business Analyst, Global HRSD & HR Technology Enablement Project Overview ServiceNow HRSD implementation project – enabling HRSD – migrating existing tools to ServiceNow HRSD models - at starting phase of project. As a Business Analyst in Global HR Product Technology Enablement, you play a pivotal role in the implementation, enhancement, and governance of HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions—such as ServiceNow HRSD, HR portals, case management, knowledge management, and related HR technologies. Typical Day in the Role Requirements Gathering & Business Analysis Completes business analysis and consults with business sponsors/stakeholders to explore, assess, and recommend business solutions. Assists with the development of strategies, recommendations, including business benefits and costs, implementation, training and change management strategies. Day to Day management of internal applications used by employees with the aim of maximizing a sustained benefit from strategic initiatives. As part of the team, you will: Create, maintain a detailed prioritized product backlog. Engage with Agile teams writing and clarifying user stories, participating in delivery planning and review, backlog grooming and prioritization. Conduct root cause analysis, gap assessments, and define future‑state processes to support HRSD and HR systems. HRSD & HR Technology Implementation Support end‑to‑end HRSD implementation and ongoing enhancement (e.g., Case Management, Knowledge, Workflows). Collaborate with architects, developers, Agile teams, and vendors during design, build, and testing. Validate configuration, support defect triage, and ensure solutions meet business requirements. Support integrations with HRIS (e.g., SuccessFactors), identity management, and other enterprise systems. Execute UAT, regression, and end‑to‑end test plans; document defects and support resolution. Product Management & Agile Delivery Manage and maintain a prioritized product backlog for HR applications and HRSD capabilities. Write and refine user stories, participate in sprint planning, grooming, review, and retrospectives. Day‑to‑day management of internal HR applications used by employees, ensuring they provide sustained business value. Process Design & Operational Improvement Assess end‑to‑end HR workflows and identify opportunities for automation and digital improvement. Define system requirements for enhancements or new features across HR platforms. Support the implementation of operational effectiveness plans and continuous improvement initiatives. Change Management, Training & Communication Collaborate on the preparation of training materials, user documentation, and communication plans to support technology rollouts. Lead or support stakeholder engagement sessions to ensure readiness for new or enhanced HR tools. Champion a customer‑focused culture and help drive adoption of HR technology across the organization. Governance, Controls & Stakeholder Alignment Ensure compliance with organizational policies, risk appetite, data governance, and regulatory obligations. Present analysis, recommendations, and updates to senior leaders and cross‑functional committees. Build strong relationships across Global HR and Technology to ensure alignment and coordinated delivery. This role is an excellent fit for an HR Technology or Business Analyst professional who is passionate about HR platforms, digital employee experiences, and process automation. Candidate Requirements 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in HR technology or HRSD environments. 2+ years’ hands‑on experience with Case Management systems, HR portals, and Knowledge Management tools. Experience to demonstrate an understanding of HR processes (e.g., onboarding, employee relations, payroll, talent, HR operations). Experience working in Agile environments, writing user stories, and managing product backlogs. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Nice‑to‑Have Skills Experience with HRSD platforms (e.g., ServiceNow HRSD). SuccessFactors experience (Employee Central, Talent modules). Exposure to HRIS integrations, workflows, and HR data structures. Experience working on/leading cross‑functional projects. Bilingual in Spanish or French is an asset. Education Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.Training or certification in HRSD, Agile, Process Design, or Business Analysis an asset. Ideal Candidate Profile Ideal candidate is someone who has experience with technology in HR, someone who was a BA/Product Owner for HR previously, can understand and clearly translate technical requirements to a business and HR stakeholders. HRSD experience/certification will set them apart; hence why they are going to market vs an internal hire as they need this specific experience.
