About the position:
The Sr Tech Consultant will be part of the Service Orchestration product, in the Engineering and Infrastructure Ecosystems domain within the Global Informatics organization.
The consultant will promote and support consumers to make better use of services provided by the Service Orchestration product. Additionally, in collaboration with the development team will be responsible for making, suggesting, and implementing enhancements to end-to-end processes in the Product of the product.
Responsibilities:
Customer Enablement: Assist consumers in maximizing the value of Operational and Predictive Intelligence infrastructure products by providing guidance, training, and best practices to optimize their usage.
Technical Support: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve consumer issues related to infrastructure components such as operating systems, databases, storage, observability, and backup solutions.
Recommendations and Training: Make recommendations for enhancements or improvements to consumers' infrastructure setups, and deliver tailored training sessions to ensure consumers are proficient in utilizing our services effectively.
Product Optimization: Work closely with the product development team to provide feedback, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the enhancement of our infrastructure services.
Strategic Guidance: Offer strategic advice to consumers regarding infrastructure best practices, and optimization opportunities to align their business objectives with our products.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as a bridge between application and infrastructure teams, fostering collaboration and alignment to ensure smooth operation of services across the different domains.
Stakeholder Relationship Building: Cultivate strong and trustworthy relationships with stakeholders by demonstrating unwavering commitment, proactive communication, flexibility, and leveraging your in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Your qualifications and experience:
8+ years of IT experience and 4+ years of leadership experience as a project manager or as a manager within multinational environments
You have the capability to actively listen to your stakeholders to properly understand their needs and transmit them to other collaborators using simple words adapted for the audience.
Your curiosity enables you to connect the dots by using your creative thinking
Propose efficient solutions and improvement activities.
You are able to structure activities with multiple tasks while keeping the focus on the goal.
Your coordination and facilitation skills enable team spirit in virtual teams and promote win-win situations.
Strong consumer-centric and agile mindset to anticipate, recognize and meet evolving Business needs.
Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven interpersonal skills to interact effectively with individuals in multiple countries and varying cultures.
Strong verbal and written English. Spanish is desirable.
Adaptable to change in a large organization.
Flexibility regarding working hours.
Occasional international travel might be required.
