The Opportunity:

Our client, a government business enterprise, is looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Toronto, Ontario . As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in infrastructure development and maintenance projects by planning, organizing, and evaluating project activities.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Creating business cases to support projects
  • Coordinating and monitoring construction activities and providing status updates
  • Overseeing project correspondence and preparing project related documents and reports
  • Tracking projects schedule and ensuring the project is completed on time
  • Issuing reports related to project progress, construction review and budget
  • Managing consultants and contractors, including creating RFP’s, procurement, performance management and H&S compliance
  • Evaluating proposals and bids
  • Developing and evaluating monthly cash flows and schedules


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Post-secondary education in civil engineering, construction, or related field.
  • Project Management Certificate (PMP) or field engineering experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing large scale construction projects
  • Understanding of project delivery principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and handle multiple deadlines


Complimentary Experience:

  • Bilingual in French & English would be considered a asset.
