Maintenance Mechanic

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing and packaging equipment. You should have strong mechanical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and quality. Provide input and recommendations for equipment purchases and replacement. Recognize unsafe acts and corrects the situation, making suggestions on creating a safe and healthy work environment. Communicates with co-workers, management, and others in a courteous and professional manner. Troubleshoots presses, furnaces, threaders. conveyors, saws and automated production lines Uses lathes, mills, welders and grinders to aid in repairs and maintenance Works closely with Production & Maintenance Supervisor on various projects and preventative maintenance Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions Completes other duties as assigned to meet business needs Qualifications: Previous related experience in a production or manufacturing environmentAbility to communicate effectively using the spoken word in EnglishHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. requiredPost-secondary education in mechanical technology or related field 2-3 years' experience in an industrial environment. Solid hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
