About the job This position is needed to lead testing and optimization across paid media channels and marketing campaigns while advancing AI and LLM‑driven paid strategies. This role blends analytics, vision and creative execution to build frameworks that embed experimentation into every campaign and develop a paid media AI roadmap that keeps Twilio marketing at the forefront of innovation and advertising efficiency. The ideal candidate has a proven record in ad platform management, testing, optimization, audience segmentation, and conversion optimization, with the ability to translate data into outcomes to create measurable, scalable growth. Responsibilities In this role, you’ll: Stay current on digital and AI‑driven marketing trends to identify, test, and implement new tools and strategies to keep Twilio at the forefront of marketing technology, innovation and efficiency. Collaborate with marketing engineering, analytics, campaign management, product marketing, creative teams, external partners and more to enhance campaign and media performance and drive measurable returns on ad spend. Optimize marketing campaigns across multiple channels including Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, Microsoft Ads, Twitch, programmatic, premium publishers, software review sites, and more by distilling performance insights and providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Oversee partner relationships, including holding quarterly business reviews, performance tracking/ROAS analysis, encouraging product/feature adoption, supporting contractual negotiations, and finding opportunities to increase channel productivity. Contribute to quarterly financial planning and ongoing budget optimizations based on channel and campaign performance to ensure investment delivers maximum results. Partner with engineering and analytics teams to enhance campaign audience segmentation and conversion actions to improve campaign efficiency. Regularly leverage Tableau and other analytics suites to measure campaign performance, diagnose and address issues, and build data‑driven recommendations for relevant stakeholders. Design, execute, and analyze multivariate tests to improve conversion rates and campaign effectiveness. Be comfortable with reading out to campaign performance, insights, test plans and outcomes, strategy and roadblocks to senior marketing leadership. Applies a pioneering approach to identify untapped opportunities, run disciplined tests, and translate findings into scalable strategies. Proven track record building, managing, and optimizing multichannel digital strategies. Ability to design and execute a strategic vision for paid digital channels and adopt emerging technologies. Strong collaboration skills with experience working across cross‑functional teams, including analytics, vendors, agencies, campaign management, product marketing, events, creative and engineering teams. Location This role will be remote, and based in Alberta, British Columbia, or Ontario, Canada.
