Job Description
- Collaborate with the Senior Data Analysts & Scientists in the beginning phases of data science projects with our SME clients to assess needs & opportunities, setting expectations, and dividing project workloads
- Know how to build high-quality, robust, and scalable data pipelines to ingest, clean, and organize large and complex datasets from diverse data sources
- Be a master of building and deploying feature engineering pipelines to handle both structured and unstructured data variables for Machine Learning modelling
- Be able to conduct data quality & integrity checks on client datasets to scan for any noise, redundancy, missing values, etc. and how to handle it
- Have background and experience designing and deploying Machine Learning models in both regression and classification-based frameworks, ideally in environments like SparkML
- Be able to build high-quality data visualization reporting tools for clients (i.e. Tableau, Looker)
- Be confident and experienced in conveying technical data science/modelling concepts to non-technical and executive audiences
Qualifications
- Analyst Experience (strongly recommended) (minimum 2 years experience)
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field of Computer Science, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics
- Proven ability in data science and Machine Learning (minimum 1 years experience)
- Real-world experience with Machine Learning modelling algorithms: SVM, Clustering, Decision Trees, Bayes Regression, Logistic Regression, etc. (minimum 2 years experience)
- Experience conducting Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) as an initial step in a data science project to help answer immediate business-related inquiries for clients
- Experience with one or more languages (Python, R, Scala) (minimum 1 years experience)
- Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI (minimum 1 years experience)
- Working knowledge of SQL/No SQL database languages (minimum 2 years experience)
- Experience working with platforms such as Databricks, Apache Spark, Spark ML, MLFlow (preferred, not required)
