Job Description

We are looking to hire an experienced full-time Warehouse Supervisor for our Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec terminal. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating day-to-day warehouse operations, to make certain of a best practices approach. _NB: This role embodies an exceptional career opportunity for a person familiar with a variety of transportation vehicles, equipment, service requirements, and transport legislation._

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 06:00PM to 2:30AM

_ Duties & Responsibilities _
Handing out & distributing assignments to the warehouse staff.
Coaching and counselling warehouse staff to overcome any barriers affecting productivity.
Assist the Manager to ensure that the warehouse is adequately staffed and that personnel are properly trained to carry out their work in a safe and competent manner.
Work with the employees to ensure a safe work environment consistent with relevant legislation and company policies.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, budget targets and contribute to the growth of the company in a pro-active manner.
Work closely with customer service to provide the best possible service for our customers.
All other duties as assigned by Management.

_ Qualifications _
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience - leading people, product scheduling etc.
LTL experience preferred.
Bilingualism in French and English considered a strong asset.
Well-organized, punctual, and computer literate-with an emphasis on spreadsheets and email applications.
Previous experience within the Warehouse/Transportation/Logistics Industry.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Proven problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to achieve operational goals.
Ability to work under pressure and handle several complex tasks simultaneously.
Ability to take ownership of issues and problem analysis, decision making and resolution.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and courteously with other staff.

_ Description de l'emploi _

Nous cherchons à embaucher un superviseur d'entrepôt expérimenté à temps plein pour notre terminal de Vaudreuil-Dorion, au Québec. Le Superviseur d'entrepôt est responsable de coordonner les opérations quotidiennes de l'entrepôt, afin de s'assurer d'une approche des meilleures pratiques. NB : Ce rôle représente une opportunité de carrière exceptionnelle pour une personne familière avec une variété de véhicules de transport, d'équipements, d'exigences de service et de législation sur les transports.

Horaire : Lundi au vendredi - 18h00 à 2h30

_ Devoirs et responsabilités _
Remise et distribution des tâches au personnel de l'entrepôt.
Coacher et conseiller le personnel de l'entrepôt pour surmonter tous les obstacles affectant la productivité.
Aider le gestionnaire à s'assurer que l'entrepôt dispose d'un personnel adéquat et que le personnel est correctement formé pour effectuer son travail de manière sûre et compétente.
Travailler avec les employés pour garantir un environnement de travail sûr, conforme à la législation en vigueur et aux politiques de l'entreprise.
Diriger des initiatives d'amélioration continue pour améliorer la sécurité, la qualité, les objectifs budgétaires et contribuer à la croissance de l'entreprise de manière proactive.
Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le service client pour fournir le meilleur service possible à nos clients.
Toutes autres tâches assignées par la direction.

_ Qualifications _
Minimum 2 ans d'expérience en supervision - direction de personnes, planification de produits, etc.
LTL expérience préférée
Le bilinguisme en français et en anglais est considéré comme un atout important.
Bien organisé, ponctuel et compétent en informatique, avec un accent sur les feuilles de calcul et les applications de messagerie.
Expérience antérieure dans le secteur de l'entrepôt, du transport et de la logistique.
Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite.
Compétences avérées en résolution de problèmes et capacité démontrée à atteindre les objectifs opérationnels.
Capacité à travailler sous pression et à gérer plusieurs tâches complexes simultanément.
Capacité à s'approprier les problèmes et à analyser les problèmes, à prendre des décisions et à les résoudre.
Capacité à établir et à entretenir des relations de travail efficaces avec les autres.
Capacité à travailler de manière efficace, efficiente et courtoise avec les autres membres du personnel.
