The position requires a creative and strategic thinker who can craft compelling content, manage multiple platforms, and drive engagement to increase visibility and traffic. This is a remote, project-based role with the potential for ongoing collaboration. Deliverables Develop and implement a tailored social media strategy to establish and grow the group’s online presence. Create, edit, and schedule engaging content across key platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter). Design visually appealing graphics and multimedia assets that reflect the group’s values and mission. Optimize posts and profiles for SEO to maximize reach and discoverability. Monitor analytics, track performance, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. Foster authentic engagement with followers and respond to community interactions in a timely manner. Requirements Proven experience managing social media accounts for organizations or brands, preferably with a focus on cultural or community-based initiatives. Strong content creation, copywriting, and editing skills with an eye for design and detail. Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). Understanding of SEO principles and best practices for social media. Ability to communicate authentically about African culture and global business standards. Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote setting. Availability for a single project with potential for future assignments.
