Service Associate, SunAdvantage Sun Life invites you to join our dynamic Group Benefits Business Development team. This role supports multiple high‑touch clients and partners with Account Executives to manage relationships with SunAdvantage Consultants and Advisors. Reporting to the Service Manager, Business Development, you will ensure all Advisor and Broker needs are met in a timely and satisfactory manner while driving sales and quote activity. Accountabilities Review data needed for quoting and for installation of new business or amendments to existing business Provide sales support to the Account Executive and Plan Advisors during and after installation of new and amended accounts Work closely with SunAdvantage business partners to manage and support Advisors’ in‑force block of business Manage target dates with Advisors for new business and/or plan design changes Understand Advisor wants and needs and take action to meet and exceed them Share ideas that could improve service delivery and processes Actively participate in huddles, team meetings, and share learnings constructively Participate in training, monthly Service Representative meetings, educational training on new product offerings and process updates Success Candidate Minimum of 1 to 3 years relevant work experience in a Service‑related role Strong knowledge of Group Benefits Client empathy and commitment to providing excellent service and excellent client experience Ability to build strong working relationships Ability to work independently and as part of a high‑functioning team Analytical and problem‑solving abilities Ability to meet goals, manage high volumes of work and collaborate across multiple teams Time‑management and organizational skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint Bilingualism in French and English required for frequent interactions with colleagues and partners across Canada and worldwide Willingness to work additional hours beyond the normal workday when necessary High School Diploma or higher Why Join Sun Life Part of the Sun Life family, united by our Purpose: to help Clients and Employees achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives Friendly, collaborative and inclusive culture Collaborative and interactive team environment Opportunity to contribute to the next greatest digital experience Shared values that encourage growth and achievement Compensation and Benefits Base Pay ranges from 49,000 – 77,000 annually, depending on location and other factors. Eligible Sun Life employees also participate in incentive plans and other discretionary payments linked to individual and company performance. Certain sales‑focused roles may have additional incentive plans based on sales results.
