Service Agent The Medical Council of Canada (MCC) is looking for a Service Agent to provide high‑quality, bilingual support to candidates and partners. This role is full time, permanent, and hybrid, with 3 vacancies in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Sanitized Pay Range This range is provided by MCC: CA$54,235.00/yr – CA$61,983.00/yr (actual salary based on skills and experience). What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive front‑line support to candidates and partners by addressing inquiries through phone, email, and instant messaging chat for all examination and repository services. Manage account requests and password resets. Handle source verification and document‑sharing requests. Offer examination‑related assistance (scheduling, eligibility, withdrawals). Prepare and deliver Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) reports. Respond to inquiries related to the Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC). Experience & Requirements 1–3 years of front‑line customer service experience, ideally in a service‑oriented environment. Proven ability to support clients through phone, email, and online channels. Experience handling sensitive information with professionalism and accuracy. Technical Skills Bilingual proficiency (English and French) with exceptional verbal and written ability in both. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and quick learning of internal systems and databases. Ability to navigate the internet efficiently for research and verification. High accuracy and attention to detail. Strong research and information‑gathering abilities. Sound judgment and confident decision‑making. Collaborative spirit with independence when needed. Training or coursework related to customer service, administration, or communications is an asset. Fully bilingual (English/French) with clear, professional, and effective communication in both languages.
