Position: Software Engineer Type: Hourly Contractor Compensation: $85–$120/hour Location: Remote Duration: 1–2 months Commitment: 20–40 hours/week Role Responsibilities Develop and configure robust, high-performance systems for next-generation machine learning applications. Design and implement scalable APIs and service layers interfacing with advanced AI models. Configure environments and design databases to support real-world engineering work. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance. Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure system robustness and performance. Qualifications Must-Have 3+ years of elite software engineering experience in top-tier technology startups or similar environments. Highly skilled in Python. Experience with open-source contributions or large codebases. Computer Science or related degree from a prestigious university in the U.S., Canada, or the UK. Expert‑level proficiency in API development, including creation, testing, and integration. Exceptional attention to detail and rigorous problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Start Date Mid to late October; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
