In accordance with the established vision, mission, and values of the organization, the Biomedical Engineering Technologist – Risk and Quality Specialist provides a full range of biomedical engineering services with a specialized focus on cybersecurity, risk mitigation, quality management, and informatics. The specialist leads the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and medical device risk management programs and serves as a CMMS super user to support data integrity, reporting, and performance improvement. The role includes developing and monitoring a formal Quality Management System (QMS), facilitating data-driven decision-making, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and regulatory bodies, to promote continuous quality improvement and optimal biomedical engineering services. Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 Prince George Prince George is the centre of business, education, health and culture for northern British Columbia and services a rural population of about 300,000.
