UX Designer Base pay range: $130,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr This role is remote and full-time. Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Position: Product Designer Type: Full-time Compensation: $ –$ /year Location: Remote Role Responsibilities Own the design of core user journeys across the product, from initial flows to polished UI. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement new features and refine existing ones. Drive design decisions through a balance of taste, data, and user empathy. Bring clarity to complex user experiences as our product evolves and scales. Create and maintain a clean, modern visual language inspired by tools like Notion and powered by elements like Tailwind. Work closely with our Head of Design to articulate and evolve Mercor’s design philosophy and culture. Qualifications Must-Have 4–8+ years in product design, ideally at fast-moving startups or high-bar product teams. Strong portfolio that demonstrates both visual polish and UX depth. Experience working closely with engineers and understanding implementation constraints. Comfort jumping into product discussions, prioritization, and pushing features across the finish line. Proven ability to operate autonomously and define design processes in ambiguous environments. Passion for building products that are intuitive, beautiful, and a joy to use. Excitement to work directly with founders and influence company-wide product direction. Preferred Experience building internal tools, marketplaces, or AI-driven products.
