Work That Matters, People Who Care.**Job Description****WHAT''S THE JOB?**Reporting to the Manager, Recruitment, the Recruiter is responsible for staff needs of Horizon North Camps & Catering. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a face-paced, team-orientated environment.This position is based out of Horizon North Camps & Catering office in Thunder Bay, Ontario.This position is a permanent full-time office-based role that may occasionally require some evenings and weekends for events.Identify available and qualified staff to perform role required at each site and schedule them accordinglyCommunicate with field staff to confirm conditions and requirements of upcoming role at siteCoordinate with leadership on staff scheduled to arrive at siteForecast staffing needs for sites based on rotational schedules provided from siteEnsure all staff tracking/scheduling systems are maintained and up to dateAssist with creating and advertising job postingsConduct virtual interviews to evaluate if the applicant (be hired)Perform reference checksCoordinate Pre-Employment testsUtilize the applicant tracking system to capture all recruiting and hiring activityCreate offer letter and notify unsuccessful candidatesCompletes daily and weekly reports on recruitment activitiesOrganize and attend job fairs, trade shows and other recruitment eventsMaintain up-to-date tracking spreadsheetsAssist in the onboarding processAssist with other administrative duties as required.Other duties as assigned.**Qualifications****WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**A diploma in Human resources or business administration is preferred1+ years of experience in recruitment preferred1 + years of experience in an HR administrative and/or recruitment roleAbility to efficiently review and select resumes that meet company requirements for further screeningProficiency in MS Office and Windows-based computer systemsProficiency in recruitment software is an asset**Additional Information****WHATu2019S IN IT FOR YOU?**Be part of an industry that''s more important than everCareer advancement opportunities.Whereas other companies are downsizing, we are growingBe #1 on day 1 by joining an industry leader.Competitive compensation package.salary starting at $52,000/yearYou will receive competitive medical and dental benefits upon day of hire PLUS $500 annual Wellness Benefit AND $500 annual Health Spending Account.Advancement opportunities.Dexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
