We are hiring a full-time Assistant Store Manager for our Bayshore Shopping Centre store in Ottawa. This position requires past leadership experience and the ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team of dedicated employees. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the daily operations of a busy retail store in a major shopping mall Assist in coaching, directing, motivating and inspiring store employees Assist in recruiting and training new employees Attend to customers with enthusiasm, maturity, and strong product knowledge Respond to customer communications over email and telephone Generate sales and control expenses as guided by senior management Maintain and enhance in-store product merchandising Receive and process shipments from product suppliers Order in-store supplies as required Assist with managing social media, company website and other marketing activities Prepare and perform bi-weekly bank deposits Occasional drop-off and pick-up of engraving orders Work as a team with senior management and other employees Requirements Experience in a retail leadership role in a professional retail environment Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge and/or strong interest in Canadian and Indigenous artisanal products Availability to work 25 to 40 hours per week University or college education Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week Apply by email to #J-18808-Ljbffr
