Position Details Title: Manager, TreasuryEmployment Type: Full‑TimeOrganization: Taseko Mines LimitedLocation: Vancouver, BCReporting Relationship: Director, FinanceSalary Range: $125,000 to $150,000 Role Overview Reporting to the Director, Finance, the Manager, Treasury will oversee treasury reporting, cash management, forecasting, financial risk management, investments, and banking administration. The role involves developing and implementing strategies to optimize cash management, reduce financial risk, and efficiently allocate resources to support operational and strategic goals. Core Responsibilities Treasury Management: Manage daily cash movements, maintain cash forecasts, liaise with credit facility lenders, and oversee loan balance and covenant compliance. Financial Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare schedules for filing deadlines, analyze financial reports, ensure IFRS compliance, review treasury reporting accuracy, monitor performance against forecasts, and collaborate with finance teams. Investment Management: Optimize cash positions, manage short‑ and long‑term investment strategies, evaluate investment opportunities, and support hedge strategies. Bank Administration: Administer bank accounts and platforms, process transfers, manage corporate credit cards, and maintain relationships with banks. Financial Analysis & Risk Management: Track cash flow and liquidity, identify financial risks, prepare senior‑management reports, and implement risk‑mitigation strategies. Compliance & Process Improvement: Adhere to financial policies, enforce internal controls, improve processes, and assist with auditor reviews. Payroll & Benefits Plans: Prepare corporate payroll, manage tax reporting for share‑based compensation, and coordinate with HR. Strategic Planning: Contribute to long‑term planning with financial insights, support decision‑making with data and risk assessments. Education & Experience Five (5) or more years as a Treasury Manager or related senior financial role, including cash management, forecasting, banking, risk management, financial modeling, reporting, and hedging. Post‑secondary degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications preferred. Preference for CPA, CFA, or CTP. Strong proficiency in financial software, systems, and MS Office Suite. Experience with online global banking platforms. Mining or natural resources industry and public‑company experience an asset. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Detail‑oriented with high accuracy. Exceptional organization and independent work ability. Flexible, manage multiple priorities, perform well in ambiguous situations. Business acumen with partnership orientation. Professional ethical and collaborative behaviours. Relationship builder with influence at all levels. Proficiency in MS Excel for financial modeling and forecasting. Knowledge of IFRS, financial regulations, and tax in Canada and the United States.
