For more information on Nelson Environmental Group, please visit their website at: THE OPPORTUNITY This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and growth-minded Chief Revenue Officer to join Nelson Environmental Group as a key member of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. The CRO will shape and lead the organization’s global revenue strategy, overseeing sales, marketing, and brand expansion while building and mentoring a high-performing team to support these objectives. The role will be responsible for developing operational systems and processes that enable scalable growth, establishing clear KPIs and performance metrics, and driving disciplined execution to ensure revenue targets are met across all markets. As Nelson continues its global expansion, the CRO will play a critical role in elevating market presence, strengthening client relationships, and positioning the company for long‑term, sustainable success. RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES Given the pivotal role this individual will be expected to play in achieving the strategic objectives of the company and in supporting the success of the organization, it is essential that the successful candidate possess the following core competencies, experience, and attributes: Strategy Development Define and execute a comprehensive global revenue strategy that drives sustainable growth and aligns with Nelson’s long‑term vision. Identify and evaluate new markets and strategic partnerships, while leveraging under‑developed areas of the business that present significant growth potential, unique value differentiation, and high ROI, to accelerate international expansion and strengthen competitive advantage. Translate organizational objectives into actionable plans that balance short‑term performance with long‑term scalability. Marketing & Brand Expansion Lead the development and execution of global marketing strategies to strengthen Nelson’s brand recognition and industry leadership. Champion thought leadership initiatives, digital engagement, and multi‑channel campaigns to generate high‑quality leads and elevate market presence. Ensure cohesive messaging and positioning across all regions, reinforcing Nelson’s reputation for technical excellence and innovation. Business Development, Sales & Revenue Generation Drive global business development, cultivating and closing high‑value strategic opportunities across multiple markets. Develop sophisticated sales strategies, frameworks, and go‑to‑market plans that consistently deliver revenue targets. Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with key clients, industry partners, and strategic stakeholders to expand business impact. Leadership & Team Development Build, inspire, and mentor a high‑performing revenue organization capable of executing a complex global strategy. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence across sales and marketing teams. Provide executive coaching, succession planning, and professional development to maximize team performance and engagement. Operational Systems & Processes Design and implement scalable, integrated systems and processes to optimize sales, marketing, and client management workflows. Drive operational discipline, efficiency, and visibility across global revenue functions to support strategic execution. Ensure seamless coordination across functional teams, enabling rapid decision‑making and consistent delivery of results. Metrics Development & Accountability Establish robust KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to measure organizational performance, revenue growth, and team effectiveness. Analyze data to identify performance gaps, market trends, and emerging opportunities, adjusting strategy to exceed objectives. Maintain rigorous accountability for revenue results and provide actionable insights to the CEO and executive leadership team. Client Development & Relationship Management Serve as a senior client‑facing executive, deepening strategic relationships with key accounts and partners. Align client needs with Nelson’s capabilities to deliver innovative, high‑value solutions that drive satisfaction and loyalty. Leverage client insights to inform strategic decision‑making, strengthen competitive positioning, and uncover new revenue opportunities. THE INDIVIDUAL Given the pivotal role this individual will be expected to play in achieving the strategic objectives of the company and in supporting the success of the organization, it is essential that the successful candidate possess the following core competencies, experience, and attributes: Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) designation would be an asset. Equivalent senior‑level leadership experience may be considered in lieu of advanced education. Experience 15+ years of leadership experience overseeing sales and marketing functions, preferably in complex, multi‑market organizations. Proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive global revenue strategies that deliver measurable growth. Demonstrated success in building, mentoring, and leading high‑performing sales and marketing teams to consistently achieve revenue targets.
