Fire Alarm Service Assistant Location:  KingstonPay Range: $20.00 per hourHours: Approximately 20–28 hours per week Our client, a leading company, is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Assistant to join their team. As a Fire Alarm Service Assistant , you will be part of the Service and Inspection Department , supporting the Fire Protection Technicians . The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills , a willingness to learn , and be self-motivated and reliable , which will align successfully within the organization. What’s the Job? Assist with the inspection, service, and troubleshooting of existing fire alarm systems in compliance with standards and codes. Support technicians in performing extinguisher and emergency lighting inspections. Assist with preparing accurate and detailed technical reports. Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service with clients. Collaborate effectively with team members while demonstrating initiative and reliability. What’s Needed? Working towards a Diploma in Fire Protection Technology/Technologist (asset). Beginner knowledge of CAN/ULC standards S524, S536, and S537. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
