This role works cross‑functionally with operations, maintenance and quality teams to identify process improvements, implement best practices, and ensure continuous improvement across all areas of operations. Job ID: TORIE2025 Schedule: Monday to Friday shift from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Contract: Full‑time, permanent Salary: $90,000 – $100,000, based on experience Workplace address: 9501 Highway #50, Vaughan, Ontario (Hwy #50/Major MacKenzie) To apply: ‑canada.com Responsibilities Conduct time and motion studies to optimize efficiency. Map and evaluate current workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost‑saving opportunities. Design and implement standardized procedures across terminals and branches to improve consistency and performance. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Collaborate closely with operations teams, maintenance, safety, and IT teams to enhance process performance and apply new methods to ensure their effectiveness in system integration. Use data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on process efficiency, on‑time performance, and resource utilization. Support implementation of new technologies, automation tools, and process innovations. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Analyze, evaluate and improve transportation and logistics processes including route planning, freight handling, and equipment utilization. Provide training, documentation, and change management support to ensure successful process adoption. Recommend new equipment for sorting to improve operational efficiency. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure operation standards are met. Write and maintain technical documentation for processes. Work closely with the project management team, including planning, execution and results tracking. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, transportation management, supply chain, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in process engineering, operations analysis, or continuous improvement – ideally within the transportation, logistics, or distribution industry. Understanding of transportation operations. Proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, and KPI development. Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification considered an asset). Skilled in using Excel, ClickSense (BI), or other data visualization and reporting tools. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Strong ability to work collaboratively with operations teams in fast‑paced environments. Continuous improvement mindset.
